Administratively based in the West Country we operate on a national
basis with local
representation in the Greater London area.

of established UK practice. We will undertake
instructions to act from project design to
completion on a total
brief or any single elemental stage.

The ability of the commissioning specialist to positively influence any
project depends on the recognition of the expertise
that he can bring
to a project, the timing of his appointment and the brief he is given.
Employed early, we can save time,
reduce costs and contribute to the
achievement of the specified quality.
By virtue of carrying out our duties within the pre-determined
constraints, we can provide assurance that the performance
of the
installation meets with the design criteria, and if not why not, and
thereby quantify the extent of any non-conformance,
which will enable
the designer and his client to review the suitability of the
installation for the purpose.
It is generally recognised that the UK practice of accepting
commissioning as an essential stage in construction of any
complex
building services project arose in the late 1960's from pressure from
clients and end users who were dissatisfied
with the performance of
the systems they were purchasing. The response by the UK building
services industry to establish
standards and procedures for the
commissioning of building services systems remains valid to the present
day.
We operate to codes set by The Chartered Institution of Building
Services Engineers and Application Guides prepared by
The Building
Services Research and Information Association. Members of our company
have taken a constructive role in
the development of these standards
and codes and we will continue to support the further progress of the
application of
developing technology in this specialist area.
